Funeral arrangements have been released for three Plainview residents killed in a plane crash Friday. 46-year old Pilot Paul Waller, his 44-year old wife Tammy and 18-year old daughter Michele were killed when their Beechcraft Bonanza caught fire after crashing shortly after takeoff at the Hale County Airport around 9:15 pm Friday. A visitation will be held at Kornerstone Funeral Directors tomorrow from 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be on Friday at 2 pm at First Baptist Church in Plainview. Donations also are welcome to the Waller Family Love Fund at any Prosperity Bank location. The crash is still under investigation by the FAA and NTSB.
The CEO of Swisher County Memorial Hospital is out on bail after he was arrested in Massachusetts, according to myhighplains.com. 40-year old Ryan Barnard was arrested in Brewster, Massachusetts for assault and battery along with assault by dangerous weapon. He allegedly threw a person out of a moving vehicle by their hair. Bernard and the victim got into an argument after dinner at a restaurant. He reportedly then banged the victim’s head against the console of the car, bit the victim and threw the victim out of the vehicle. Barnard has entered a not guilty plea. He was released on $2500 bond.
